Starting Salary: $45,000 - $48,000 


What You'll Do:
  • Assist in monitoring local government reporting compliance.  
  • Compile compliance findings from local government audit reports. 
  • Assist in communicating findings and recommendations to local governments to help them improve operations. 
  • Assist in reviewing corrective actions taken by local governments to address findings and prepare working papers to document review procedures. 
  • Create and revise Excel spreadsheets used by local governments to report financial data. 
  • Assist in preparing local government trainings. 
  • Occasionally travel out of town to perform work.

What You'll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Additional education or work experience that show your success in performing detail-oriented work.  
  • Strong interest in public service and improving State government. 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
