This position is available for remote work within Arizona (including virtual office arrangement)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and engaged intern who want to develop beyond the classroom. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with our state compliance efforts and learning accounts payable procedures.

Intern Project/Outcome Expected from the Intern:
• Accounts Payable Compliance Burndown list actions completed
• This intern will be assisting with Accounts Payable compliance efforts
• Reviewing and ensuring our processes are up to date as well as in compliance
• Assistance with other Units in the compliance effort
• Assist with invoice payments as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

You will bring the following to the internship:
• Google sheets
• The ability to research and review information
• Math skills in statistics, algebra and calculus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a team environment

You will gain the following from this internship:
• State Compliance
• Accounts Payable procedures
• State funding experience
• Reconciliation efforts

Selective Preference(s):

• Intern candidate must be in their Junior or Senior year of a BS/BA or working towards a Masters/PhD program
• Selective preference will be given to students in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration
• Candidate must have a GPA of 3.0 or better
• Candidate must have the right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
• Candidate must be at least 18 years old
