Coordinates the activities of the Education Volunteers and Facility field trips; initial program planning, design and implementation responsibilities within the guidance of the Education team.
Manage and track hours, correspondence, purchase orders, invoices and payments for volunteers and programs that require payment. Handle deposits and tracking within the appropriate programs and work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of documentation.
Provide training, guide books and offer support for on site tours.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
• Performs a variety of complex administrative tasks for an executive, administrator or program manager including research, special projects, budget preparation and control, manpower and operations planning and report preparation
• Prepares documentation and represents the administrator at meetings, workshops and seminars
• Coordinates administrative matters between organizational units
• Composes correspondence on a wide variety of subjects
Knowledge:
• Agency or program rules, regulations and operating procedures; accounting and budgeting procedures
• Educational guidelines pertaining to K-12
Skills:
• Oral and written communication
Abilities:
• Plan, analyze, coordinate activities and establish priorities; develop effective operating procedures
• BA in Education, History, Public History, Museum Studies or related field or 3 years experience
• Must be able to obtain a valid Arizona State driver's license
