The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified individual to provide all aspects of administrative, investigative, legal procedures, and terminology support. This position acts as the primary Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) and Arizona Correctional Information System (ACIS) Coordinator at the Arizona State Prison Complex – Lewis.
- Completes background clearances on all visitors, including inmates visitors, vendors, contracted employees, volunteers, special tours, and specified inmates
- Maintains both manual and electronic logs to ensure confidentiality of all information
- Organizes and files confidential documents and records
- Processes warrant checks and sends teletypes to outside criminal justice agencies
- Completes special projects, assignments, and reports as requested by the supervisor
- Sets up and maintains all user accounts
- Attends meetings and required training
- Drives and State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
Requires possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).
Must possess ACJIS Level Operator at time of hire or obtain and maintain certification within three (3) months of hire
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
