Job Summary:

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant I for the Child and Family Protection Division/Protective Services Section to provide administrative support to the Legal Counsel and Legal Support Staff under general supervision.

Remote Options: This position may be eligible for Remote Work two days a week.

Job Duties:

The incumbent of this position will perform a variety of administrative tasks such as operational planning, report preparation, problem resolution and will also have frequent contact with client, court and other legal entities in requesting confidential legal documents. The position will have access to and review confidential and privileged information involving child support, child custody, and/or CPS case details; utilizing this information to plan, coordinate, analyze and prioritize work product. The position will also perform generalized administrative work with special emphasis on preparing, verifying, analyzing, gathering and compiling data to prepare reports, coordinating schedules and coordinating administrative matters between sections. Regular attendance is required in this position.

Knowledge
Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office Software and the ability to generate database/spreadsheets and word processing documents as required.

Selective Preference(s):

The preferred candidate will have at least two years of experience in a professional setting requiring skill in oral and written communication, initiative, good judgment, independence, problem solving and critical thinking with respect to the performance of duties; or an Associates of Arts degree from an accredited college or university and one year of the desired experience; or a bachelor's degree from and accredited college or university.

• Travel may be required for this position. A valid Arizona Driver’s License is required, along with consent to have your driving record run periodically.
