The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an ambitious professional ready to jump-start a rewarding career! This position performs a variety of complex administrative tasks and specialized work for the Procurement Services Bureau.

- Provides administrative support for the Procurement Services Bureau ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Screens phone calls, mail distribution, schedules appointments and meetings, and maintains office supplies as needed
- Creates, maintains, and distributes all assigned administrative office reporting
- Manages records in accordance with rules, statutes, and Department Orders, including but not limited to filing, maintaining and archiving completed contract documents
- Prepares reports, documents, memorandum, evaluation documents and other correspondence as assigned upon verbal or written directives
- Assists in gathering and compiling contract documents for response to public records
- Takes and transcribes meeting minutes to include evaluation committee meetings
- Manages the internal ADCRR Procurement Services website
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:

- General purchasing practices and procedures
- Formatting business documents of varying complexity
- Composition of correspondence and reports
- Business grammar and telephone etiquette
- Office equipment including computer and word processing, Microsoft Excel and the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP)
- Setting up and maintaining filing systems and records keeping

Ability to:

- Assure agency and department procedural conformity in day-to-day operations
- Three (3) years of administrative experience working in an office environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field appropriate to the assignment
Requires the possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
