Job Summary:

This position is a Mobile Applications Developer supporting the Arizona WIC Program’s current mobile application, EzWIC and future projects. The Mobile Applications Developer is essential in front end development for Android and iOS phones connecting to the EzWIC application servers.


Job Duties:

- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines. This includes coding, testing, debugging, implementing, and documentation.
- Creates deliverables according to the Software Development Life cycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
- Analyzes and assists with creating reusable and enterprise level mobile applications both for IOS and Android using Xamarin Forms 2.5 and above, Xcode, and Scandint.
- Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assigned. Performs root cause analysis and remediation in one or more applications or systems.  Translates business requirements into system specifications.  Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

- Maintain business systems standards by applying software development, project management methods, tools and processes as standard practice.
- Prepare and deliver informative, well-organized presentations and project status reviews to stakeholders including process owners, customers and stakeholders.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
- Thorough working knowledge of multiple programming languages, multiple database management systems, multiple development platforms, and systems integration.
- Thorough working knowledge of developing and writing technical documentation.
- Thorough working knowledge of evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, consolidate details and extract to functional requirements.
- Thorough working knowledge of directing multiple/concurrent implementations of IT solutions.
- Experience in analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of multi-tier applications.
- Demonstrated experience in .NET web application development.
- Experience using relational databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server) databases and develop enterprise PUSQL I T-SQL stored procedures.
- Knowledge of OOP concepts and LIi design skills in ASP.NET.
- Knowledgeable with development tools such as Visual Studio, SSIS, SSRS, 11S, jQUERY, Model-View-Controller (MVC).
- Experience with Xamarin Forms 2.5 and above.
- Experience with plug ins like Xcode and Scandint software.
- Experience with C# code and N tier application.
- Experience with creating mobile application both for IOS and Android.
- Experience with creating web api, restful service.
- Performance Management (PM), and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Lean methodologies.

Retirement:

To help you build a financially secure future, the State makes monthly contributions to finance your retirement benefit. The State will make a contribution to the ASRS in an amount equal to your contribution. In other words, you and the State will each pay 50% of the total cost of the benefit. New State employees have a 27 week wait period for contributions to begin.
