This position, reporting directly to the agency Chief Information Officer, leads the software development efforts for the agency by designing, and creating new software applications, and performs enhancements to existing software applications on the: Salesforce, Goggle, Microsoft, and Adobe platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Performs full stack technical development of new applications from ground up on multiple platforms including but not limited to: Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft .net, Microsoft SQL, MY SQL, Java, any other relevant modern development platform the agency may choose in the future.
● Performs deep dive analysis, and reverse engineering of existing code banks to apply fixes and develop changes to applications on the following platforms: Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft .net, Microsoft SQL, MY SQL, Java, any other relevant modern development platform; to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
● Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
● Adeptly works with the CIO and other agency leadership to develop new software applications in support of the agency's internally developed web-based decision support system (intranet) on the Microsoft IIS, and Microsoft .net platforms.
● Develops user guides and provides end user training on the usage of customized software systems on the following, but not limited to platforms: Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft .net, Microsoft SQL, MY SQL, Java, any other relevant modern development platform.
● Supports production software by updating, and modifying code, and configurations, including but not limited to, Salesforce, JWS Filehandler, ICM Viewcenter, custom Google applications, and custom Microsoft applications.

● Considerable working knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems, multiple development platforms, and ground up software builds.
● Proficiency in the development of Salesforce applications and Application Programming Interfaces (API).
● Developer Knowledge of Salesforce Community Cloud.
● Advanced knowledge in the development of MuleSoft integrations.
● Advanced knowledge in the development of browser-based applications on the .net platform.
● Proficiency in the development of SOAP/REST API.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
• A bachelors degree in software engineering with 4 or more years related experience, or a bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline with 6 or more years of documented software application development experience.
• A Salesforce developer certification -or- a Salesforce administration certification with 2 years of development experience.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate Arizona driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
