The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking an ambitious auditor with strong data analytical abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, and an understanding of governmental auditing standards.
The new team member will perform field audits of the financial records on intra- and interstate businesses of average to considerable complexity; determines tax liabilities involving one or several of the state’s taxes.
Prepare documents and recommendations for the final audit memorandum; may serve as lead for the most complex of businesses and reviews refund requests.
This position may require in and out of state travel up to three weeks in duration. Review and research various city issues from simple to average complexity and may be required to provide training.
