As a PRN CNA, this position carries out all assigned para-professional nursing care and treatment services in prescribed and efficient manner. Provides a safe, therapeutic and hygienic environment. Learns, implements and monitors Arizona Management System (AMS) methods. Incorporates a cultural focus on Veteran/Member-centered care in the performance of job duties.
PRN/Pool employee are acquired to work one weekend shift per month, two additional shifts per month, one hour of Arizona State Veteran’s Home in service training per month, one State service holiday per year (excluding Martin Luther King Jr./Civil Rights Day, Presidents’ Day and Columbus Day. Shift differential is paid for night shifts.
