DES is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Civil Rights Compliance Manager with the Office Of Equal Opportunity (OEO). This position assists the Administrator in directing and coordinating the OEO and plays a key role in ensuring compliance with civil rights laws and policies to prevent discrimination and promote equal opportunity across programs and services.
This position oversees complaint investigations and compliance audits, and leads staff training, while advising leadership on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles and complex compliance matters. The role supports compliance with key federal mandates, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Limited English Proficiency (LEP), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures.
