As a Cloud System Administrator, this position works independently under general supervision to assist in the daily IT operations (systems administration, desktop support, user account administration, database administration, security remediation, patch management, and ticket resolution). The Cloud System Administrator will maintain the performance and efficiency of all IT services while providing customer support with multiple client operating systems and desktop applications for the State Park's Central Office and remote Park locations. This position will perform general and specific hardware/software patching, troubleshooting, problem solving, deployment, and maintenance as it relates to network administration, workstations, applications and productivity software. This position is responsible for installing security patches and maintaining computer systems at an optimal security level. Perform day-to-day operational administration of complex multi-user cloud-based computing systems including user management, audits, patches, and upgrades. Coordinate, schedule and perform software installations to cloud based operating systems, layered software packages, and databases.
- Implements software patches, security fixes, and validates system configurations. Uses patch management tools to deploy application updates and approved operating system versions.
- Resolves customer generated requests for technical support. Processes, documents and coordinates resolution of trouble calls with help desk.
- Perform day-to-day operational administration of complex multi-user cloud-based computing systems including user management, audits, patches, database administration, and system upgrades. Creates and modifies user accounts.
- Manage and track IT assets, data destruction and surplus.
- Manage and procure hardware and software via the AZ procurement process.

Migration exp with Windows/Linux servers to public cloud environments, understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS infrastructures. Cloud
Compute Instances, Virtual Networks, Cloud Load Balancers, Cloud Storage, Cloud
Database Services, and Cloud Security.
Skill in:
Writing and presentation, as well as data gathering techniques to assess the needs of the agency.
Techniques of computer diagnostic Interpretation in resolving hardware/software problems.
Experience In modification of LAN/workstation system software with a working skill of at least one programming language, preferably python, Objective C, or C++.
Excellent written and oral skills along with confident trainer abilities.
Solid skills working in Linux and Windows environments

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to:

CompTIA A+, Tanium, Apple Certified Support; JAMF Management System; Crowdstrike Falcon and Zscaler in deployment: Knowledge of Reservation and Retail Systems, including PCI security. General security for OS X Client computers, including hardening methods. Experience may be used to substitute for preferences. Experience with AWS Services; EC2, VPC, ELB, AWS Security, S3, RDS, EBS, or equivalent within Azure / Google Cloud Platform
Drivers license
At least one entry level / associate level cloud certification from one of the following cloud vendors;
AWS Cloud Practitioner(AWS) or higher
Associate Sysops Administration or higher
Google Fundamentals or higher
MS Azure Fundamentals or higher
Azure Administrator or higher
