The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Civil Litigation Division/Community Outreach and Education is seeking highly motivated students currently enrolled in college courses. This opportunity will provide the interns with knowledge of Arizona's statewide Crime Prevention and Education initiatives. Community Outreach and Education interns must have exceptional customer service skills as they will have direct contact with constituents. Interns receive training in best practices for answering constituent questions and concerns related to fraud, identity theft, and many other issues throughout their internship. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors in college are encouraged to apply.
Interns are expected to perform a wide variety of duties including: answering constituent phone calls, developing and executing a special project, handling mail/email, submitting weekly social media content, assisting outreach coordinators with additional special projects, research, and have the opportunity to job shadow and attend office related events.

Consumer fraud/Consumer scams
Internet Safety & Cyber-Bullying
Human trafficking
Suicide Awareness and Prevention
Opioid Awareness and Prevention
Young Consumers
Life Care Planning
These positions are non-paid. If the intern seeks University credit, the number of hours must meet the minimum established by the University.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, Word and PowerPoint
• The position requires communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to work both in a team setting and independently
• Ability to handle research assignments, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Taking a course of study relevant to the internship opening.
Experience with social media coordination preferred
• Minimum cumulative G.P.A. 3.00
• Availability of 12-25 hours per week
• Currently enrolled in college or university, taking a course of study relevant to the internship opening
