Job Summary:
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking motivated and experienced personnel to join our team. Criminal Intelligence Analysts perform detailed research and analysis of criminal intelligence information. Work involves analyzing data, writing reports, and developing links between criminals and crime groups or patterns of criminal activity. Performs related duties as assigned. This is a competitive classification.
This recruitment will be used to establish a state-wide 18-month eligibility list to fill current and future vacancies over the life of the list.
Requires a four-year degree from an accredited institution of higher education; OR at least two (2) years of research or analysis identifying trends or patterns, or intelligence-oriented experience with a two-year degree; OR at least four (4) years of research or analysis identifying trends or patterns, or intelligence-oriented experience. Other combinations of experience and education that total four (4) years may be substituted. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain ACJIS Terminal Operator Certification within six months of hire or promotion, and maintain certification throughout the course of this assignment.

May be required to obtain and maintain authorization for top-secret clearances.

May be required to testify in court proceedings.

May be required to travel to perform certain work functions.

May be required to sit for extended periods of time.

Holidays, weekends, irregular hours, shift work, and call-outs may be required, with possible extension of shift hours.

May be assigned to a duty station outside of the Phoenix area.
