Job Summary:

The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) is hiring a Customer Service Representative in the Initial Processing Section. The Corporations Division approves for filing all articles of incorporation for Arizona businesses; all articles of organization for limited liability companies; grants authority to foreign corporations to transact business in this state; propounds interrogatories when necessary to determine a company's lawful purpose; and revokes the corporate charters of those corporations which choose to not comply with Arizona law.

Job Duties:

This position will interact with customers to answer specific questions regarding filing requirements in Titles 10 and 29 (corporations and limited liability companies) of the Arizona Revised Statutes. Some interactions will include the resolution of problems and customer complaints. Serves as a Division representative to the public, specifically the business sector. The CSR II will provide service in multiple capacities including the receipt and distribution of Division mail, the collection of electronic submissions including facsimile and e-mail, the initial review and processing of filing submissions, as well as scanning, archiving, and customer service responsibilities. The CSR II will review and examine filing submissions that have been rejected and documents that require special handling and provide direct customer service for issues relating to rejected filings, special handling, resubmissions, and general customer assistance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
-Knowledge of customer service techniques;
-Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and math;
-Excellent listening, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
-Research and problem solving skills;
-Ability to interact with customers via the telephone, correspondence or in person to answer specific questions regarding filing requirements according to Titles 10 & 29 Arizona Revised Statutes, including the resolution of customer complaints;
-Proficient PC skills;
-Good attention to detail and accuracy; and
-Ability to examine all documents submitted to the ACC for compliance with Titles 10 & 29 and ACC policies and procedures
