• This position will provide broad and individualized technical assistance to CTE participating LEAs, including CTEDs and community colleges, to ensure high-quality data submissions, monitor and audit CTE data, assist with state-level data reporting and analytics.
• Provide technical assistance and training for the CTE Data Portal system.
• Rare in-state and out-of-state travel may be required for this position.
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.
• Assist with CTE data reporting and analytics by providing individualized technical assistance to CTE school districts, CTEDs, and community colleges
• Continuously monitor and verify data to ensure accuracy and work with school districts to research and address discrepancies
• Develop and maintain system and programmatic policies, manuals, standard procedures, forms, and other organizational and technical documentation regarding CTE data reporting
• Gather data and prepare reports for program planning, system maintenance, and another department needs, as required!
• Works with internal and external stakeholders to enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain the CTE Data Portal online data collection system
• Conducts user acceptance testing on CTE Data Portal system enhancements and updates
• Presents in-person and virtual technical training for CTE Data Portal and other data reporting/analytics processes and procedures
Knowledge in:

• Applicants must have experience with advanced-level spreadsheet and database software.
Skills in:

• Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel or other spreadsheet software

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Preference will be given to those applicants with experience with CTE data reporting or other school data reporting.
