This position is responsible for duties related to our production printing process and agency mass mailings. This position deals with incoming data, uses software and hardware equipment to process outgoing mail, interacts with customers and vendors to provide information in response to inquiries about services and mailroom functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Uses Pitney Bowes command center to retrieve documents from salesforce, process documents for printing.
• Process for mailing utilizing Pitney Bowes letter insertion machine to fold documents into mail envelopes
• Requires problem solving skills to identify Pitney Bowes data error, maintain the equipment and reports problems to Management Information Services.
• Operates mail machines, such as postage meters, photocopying equipment, mail folding and insertion machines, and Fax/Scanning machines
• Monitoring basic office/personal record keeping
• Process postage meters records and request funds as needed; monitor emails and communicate daily with colleagues
• Operates mail software applications to ship mails or packages
• Use Send Pro software to process certified mail
• Delivers mail to departments or employees
• Provides customer service to department
• Deliver mail/packages externally using state vehicles
• Participate in Arizona Management System (AMS) and daily huddleboard
• Attend staff meetings, seminars, conferences and training classes as indicated

The ideal candidate will possess basic problem-solving skills related to machine operation, demonstrate patience, and have a working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Google Sheets.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate Arizona driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
