Knowledge:
Customer service techniques; office policies and procedures, applicable software/databases; data entry; MS Office Suite; understanding of applicable rules, statutes, filing procedures, CQI, and scanning protocols.
Skills:
Computer software programs applicable to the position; attention to detail, data entry, document preparation, application knowledge of rules, statutes, and policies and procedures; evaluation of pending registration applications; provide accurate, respectful information; accurate filing of documents; scanning of files.
Ability:
Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of incoming calls; monitor work-flow and adjust; provide specialized instructions to the public; listening and interpret complex information; work as a team player; effectively work with multiple members of the Bureau Management Team; seek input from a supervisor, as necessary

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required and 3+ years of experience in customer service. Experience with multiple line telephones, computers, and technology preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with Public Health experience and knowledge of public record maintenance.
