Job Summary:

The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Network Program Coordinator. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.

This position has the responsibility to carry out Network Division and Central Office goals including the development of tracking and trending qualified vendor data. Creates, analyzes and presents data to Network management. The position must be knowledgeable in AHCCCS and ALTCS current policies, procedures and DDD contract compliance. Researches, composes and ensures DDD vendor communication is effectively written and forwarded for distribution. This position completes all Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Network deliverables timely and accurately. The Division's Network area has several responsibilities on the AHCCCS Chart of Deliverables which uses a method to ensure the Division is in compliance with its contract. Timely and accurate AHCCCS deliverables are crucial due to potential sanctions for non-compliance of timely deliverables. This position interfaces with AHCCCS and creates documents for the Division’s Operational Review which monitors another level of Division Compliance.

Job Duties:

• Completes AHCCCS deliverables and ensures they are accurate and timely in order to avoid potential sanctions from AHCCCS. Researches, develops and creates reports required by AHCCCS. Analyzes, tracks and trends Network sufficiency statistical data. Presents findings to management based on the outcome of the data.
• Completes monthly and weekly Scorecard Metrics for the Network Area requirement. Creates documents for the Governor's LEAN initiatives such as Huddles.
• Develops tools and provides high level technical assistance related to the Division Operational Reviews and AHCCCS standards. Attends meetings associated with AHCCCS compliance
• Conducts and leads special Network Projects. Provides high level technical assistance to Division and District staff, qualified vendors and independent providers. Provides direct input in Division meetings and work groups. Leads Division work groups. Tracks all assignments for timely outcomes as given. Presents information at Division and District provider meetings.
• Drafts responses on behalf of the Network Administrator, reviews the Network member services funding mailbox for review, approval or denial. Drafts Network Policy and Procedures. Composes correspondence independently.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

• Knowledge of Federal and State Statutes and agency policies and procedures relating to the care and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of Arizona Long Term Care Services
• Knowledge of AHCCCS Contract and Acute Care Health Plans
• Knowledge of Title XIX.
• Highly skilled in oral and written communication.
• Ability to use computer systems at an intermediate or above level (i.e.Excel, Access,Word, and Power-point)
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and create reports.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Ability to Complete extensive research
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report trends
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Ability maintain professional boundaries.

Selective Preference(s):

Experience dealing/working with Qualified Vendor Application Process, Arizona Long-Term Care Services (ALTCS), or AHCCCS Contract and Acute Care Health Plans and 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desired. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Social Work, Education, Liberal Arts, Early Childhood Development, Business or related field is preferred but not required.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record in accordance with DES Fleet Management­ Safety Program policy and procedures (DES 1-07-26 & DES 1-07-26-01.) Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
