Job Summary:

The Digital Media Analyst serves a critical communication role by facilitating messaging and digital content creation and delivery for the agency at large and for specific programs. The Digital Media Analyst serves the critical role of managing content on the agency's social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any emerging channels. Additionally, this role provides marketing counsel and direct assistance to programs throughout the agency, including conducting relevant audience research and providing web analytics. The Digital Media Analyst will also assist with creation and review of web content as well as overseeing the production and posting of web content.

Job Duties:

• Liaising and consulting with internal partners to create digital content for the agency's social media channels and website;
• Monitoring social media channels for content, trends and interaction opportunities with customers;

• Identifying new social media opportunities and better ways to leverage existing channels.

• Outreach to internal partners for replies to customers via social media; Administering website statistical reports;
• Developing graphics for online environments;
• Assisting with video production for social media distribution;
• Posting and promoting content on the ADHS Blog;
• Photo and video library management;
• Developing and administering online surveys, online forums, bios and similar using online tools;
• Provisioning appropriate content related to goals for website and social media environments;
• Providing social media marketing counsel with various ADHS programs including budget review, working with ad agencies on concepts and project scope;
• Managing social media in house media buys; 
• Conducting ongoing review of relevant audience research commissioned by ADHS programs, as well as other demographic information available and related to our users;
• Contributing to website production schedule;
• Communicating project delivery estimates and project status to internal partners;
• Communicating with website technical staff for optimal information design and delivery of content to customers;
• Organizing content from internal partners for translation to website navigation and layout;\• 
• Coordinating with agency partners for review of existing website materials;
• Reviewing published digital content and identifying gaps;
• Assisting with URL purchases and renewals;
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

- Website technologies, user experience and best composition of content for website and social media delivery; website user populations and technologies used to consume content digitally; social media technologies and capabilities.

- Knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of the organization structure and internal partners/authorities responsible for content specialties.
- Knowledge of Performance Management (PM), and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Lean methodologies.

Skill in:
- Effective writing for content delivery via website and social media environments.
- Use of various office software for effective project organization and tracking; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Operation of digital environments related to social media administration.

Ability to:

Selective Preference(s):

Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field and 3 years experience in web development, social media, or marketing. 5 Years of relevant experience in web development, social media, or marketing in lieu of degree.

Employees who drive on state business require possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. To help you build a financially secure future, the State makes monthly contributions to finance your retirement benefit.
