• The Lead State Performance Plan (SPP) and the Annual Performance Report (APR) Coordinator position will oversee the indicator collections for the SPP and APR.
• Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required for this position.
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate
• Develop, research, write, organize, and coordinate the SPP/APR for annual submission to the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)
• Will assist in other data collections in appropriately processing data for federal submission into the SPP/APR
• Timelines for this collection can vary wildly throughout the year and flexibility is crucial for availability as needed
• Provide technical assistance, professional development training, and develop training documentation on the SPP/APR
• Collaborate and gain feedback from internal and external stakeholders
• Supports the processing of PEA determination measures by contributing to analysis, coordination, documentation and presentation of data as needed for stakeholders and leadership
• Provides key support in the development and implementation of measures used to calculate and publish significant disproportionality, and assists in communicating and representing this work
• Coordinate IDEA Section 618 data collections, including Dispute Resolution reporting, and assist with the annual Maintenance of Effort (MOE) submission
• Review, validate, and analyze data to ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements and timelines
