Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Administration is seeking an Operations Analyst to join the Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) Division to serve as an Executive Consultant to enhance operational processes and advise on IT service strategies. This position will make recommendations to executive leadership, consult management and service staff, drive new enterprise service initiatives, monitor the customer onboarding pipeline, support and manage billing automations, and oversee new rate deployment. Additionally, this position will lead problem solving efforts, continuous improvement initiatives, and consultation to executives related to IT operations and strategy.

Job Duties:

-Provide advice, support, and guidance to executive and senior management
-Create and implement a standard process to monitor and optimize service delivery capacity across service delivery teams
-Advise on the customer process to achieve seamless onboarding
-Enhance billing processes for seamless transition into regular billing cycles
-Create and manage automation opportunities
-Recognize repeated problems or trends, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommendations to management
-Confer with management and others to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems and procedures
-Provide strategic leadership to the ASET Executive team on insights and recommendations based on analysis
-Other duties as assigned related to the position

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
-Infrastructure technologies and in-house developed applications utilized in the enterprise
-Leading technology
-SQL
-Developing a vision for the specific business and program/function being managed
-G-Suite

Skilled in:
-System administration and leadership
-Customer service
-Interpersonal, written, and oral communication
-Evaluating and testing emerging technologies
-Applying creative solutions to business problems

Ability to:
-Drive new enterprise service initiatives
-Perform with no supervision in a complex environment
-Work collaboratively in teams and across organizations
-Advocate technology changes that provide value and support to agency goals
-Champion a cohesive and consistent approach to improvement in the organization
-Synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly
-Manage medium to large teams
-Understand and anticipate needs and priorities of both internal and external customers
-Work with a fast paced, results oriented team

Selective Preference(s):

-Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
-Master’s Degree in a related field, preferred
-Experience may be substituted for education preferences
