EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM:                                                                                                                               This position is eligible for an employee referral incentive payment of $1,000.00 (conditions apply).

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports to the FCRB (Foster Care Review Board) Program Manager and is charged with statewide recruiting of new board members as well as enhancing statewide awareness of the FCRB Program. This position may need to frequently work on weekends.

Essential functions of the position include developing, reviewing, editing, and coordinating distribution of informational pamphlets and brochures for each county across the state; attend and speak to potential volunteers at recruiting events throughout the state; serve as liaison with external printers and other vendors of publications and communications-related services; and work closely with, and may staff, the FCRB State Board Outreach Committee. This position may occasionally need to facilitate an FCRB board, including generating invitations, preparing case materials, and generating recommendation reports for the Court.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field and two years of experience in marketing or community relations experience.  Directly related experience may substitute for the educational requirements.  In addition, the successful candidate will possess interpersonal and group communication skills, a demonstrable track record of reliability and excellent performance, and strong computer skills. This position also requires the ability to work as part of a collaborative team, present information in front of community organizations, and develop and implement a comprehensive community outreach program.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge of Arizona laws, policies, and procedures pertaining to foster care and the operation of the Foster Care Review Boards, the Arizona Department of Child Safety, and Juvenile Courts.

Travel: Statewide when needed including occasional overnight stays.
