• Review subgrantee budgets, invoices and contract materials for compliance with applicable grant, federal and state regulations and guidelines
• Solve daily problems and make independent decisions based on information gathered and research conducted
• Participate in grant planning and re-allocation discussions to ensure effective usage of grant resources
• Provide fiscal oversight from start to finish for multiple Federal funding sources
• Conduct monitoring visits and provide technical assistance to subgrantees
• Research and provide guidance on federal rules and regulations
• Prepare and present forecasts of grant and subgrantee spending
• Draft timly correspondence to key stakeholders and subgrantees

Preference will be given to those applicants with:
• Progressively more responsible accounting and/or auditing or similar work experience
• Prior knowledge of federal or state grants management processes
• A combination of formal education and work experience
• Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment
