The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an Full-Time experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Analyst to work under guidance of the HR Support Supervisor.
This position is responsible for the timely creation of the institution’s AZ360 Personnel Input Documents on a wide variety of position and salary actions at the Arizona State Prison Complex - Safford.

Job Duties:

- Provides customer service to employees regarding HR related inquiries, includes deposits, taxes, benefits, promotional and transfer opportunities
- Researches and prepares AZ360 input documents on a variety of employee personnel actions such as new hires, promotions, resignations, demotions, transfers, reversions, audit actions, reconciles HRIS entries for accuracy, etc.
- Conducts new hire and lateral transfer in-processing, reviews all new hires and lateral transfers, sending forms and informing new staff of employee benefits options
- Ensures E-verify are completed timely
- Processes all institution in-coming contractors and non-religious volunteers, includes completing of background questionnaires, coordinates fingerprints and submission of all completed background packets to the appropriate location
- Processes ID requests, creates contractors/volunteers files, tracks ID expiration dates, updates log for monthly reporting, etc.
- Utilizes a variety of computer programs and software daily, including AZ360, Microsoft, Excel, Google Suite, Gmail, etc.
- Produces and researches the AZ360 Status Term Report sending regular notices out to the units of upcoming status term dates, for employee performance evaluations
- Creates input document and submit original to HR Operations Central Office for processing and filing
- Creates Institution HR Files for all newly hired staff, including contractors and volunteers
- Files all incoming HR and Benefits related actions and documentation
- Travels/Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
