The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual like you, to join our team as a HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ANALYST.
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely processing of a wide variety of position and salary actions in AZ360, customer service, tracking and filing HR documentation, and preparing reports for the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Yuma.

Job Duties:

- Provides customer service to employees regarding HR related inquiries including direct deposits, taxes, benefits, leave status promotional, and transfer opportunities, etc.
- Researches, prepares, and reviews accuracy of AZ360 input documents on a variety of employee personnel actions such as new hires, promotions, retirements, demotions, transfers, leave status, stipends, audit actions, etc.
- Conducts the on-board process of New Hires, Rehires, and incoming transfers, this will consist of reviewing completion of accuracy of all Agency, State, and Federal mandated forms, and provides information on employee benefit options
- Processes all institution in-coming contractors and volunteers, including coordination of fingerprints and completion of submission of all completed background packets to the appropriate location
- Processes ID request, including review for accuracy, communicates to all appropriate units and tracks the process through completion while in compliance within time frames
- Utilizes a variety of computer programs and software daily including AZ360, Microsoft and Google products
- Utilizes Federal, State and Agency policies and the AZ360 HR System to review and determine eligibility of employee FMLA requests
- Upon results of FMLA requests, completes data entry into AZ360, HR Trackers and reports and keeps an updated record of accurate and information until completion of an employee’s FMLA record
- Maintains employee Electronic Personnel Files on a daily basis including: memorandums, pay notifications, benefit supporting documentation, FMLA, State, Federal and Agency forms, etc.
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
