Salary: $71,377 - $85,000.00

This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangement)

Job Summary:

Our Human Resources Executive Consultant is an integral part of our diverse, talented and innovative team and directly contributes to our agency’s mission by creating, executing, piloting and deploying HR solutions on an enterprise level.

Job Duties:

You will serve the enterprise by:

  • Providing coaching, facilitation, team development, whole systems analysis, process re-engineering and organizational development services in support of agency priorities
  • Developing workforce strategies for retention, recruitment, training, coaching, knowledge management and succession planning by working with all levels of the organization
  • Consulting with executive leadership on HR issues such as creating and implementing talent programs and tools
  • Promoting and implementing ongoing lean projects to drive business objectives
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

  • Comprehensive HR management principles
  • Federal and State employment laws
  • Theoretical and practical concepts of HR
  • Arizona state statutes and personnel rules
  • Organizational design theories and methods for organizational effectiveness


Skilled in:

  • Successfully influencing and persuading others by understanding how their individual needs and motivations link to strategic goals
  • Time management and multitasking
  • Business solution software such as Google Suite
  • Communication, both verbal and written


Ability to:

  • Create working relationships resulting in motivating and inspiring others to achieve results
  • Delegate effectively
  • Research, analyze, evaluate and synthesize data and present information effectively and in support of project objectives
  • Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
Selective Preference(s):

The ideal candidate will have five (5) or more years of professional-level HR experience, coaching, mentoring and training experience and demonstrated experience in transforming organizational culture.


Education: Preferred candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a closely related field of study

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, required to maintain acceptable driving records and complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11).
