The Extended Foster Care (EFC) Consultant provides direct coaching and oversight to EFC Success Coach Program Providers in order to ensure successful implementation of the EFC Success Coach Program. The EFC Consultants will be responsible for group coaching sessions to EFC Success Coaches and their supervisors on how to engage youth in a coach-like way and provide strength-based case management as needed for youth and young adults participating in the Extended Foster Care. They will organize and facilitate Age of Majority (AOM) meetings for youth in out of state Behavioral Health facilities at 17.5 and older and all become trained trainers of Youth Thrive, and the DCS Specific training. They will track coaches with the contracted providers, and report and monitor the fidelity of the program model. The EFC Consultants will be experts in Arizona’s Young Adult Program, as well as the Behavioral Health (BH) system with an emphasis on DCS’s Extended Foster Care Program.

Good knowledge of human services principles and practices. Relevant experience in case management.
Preferred Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in in education, social work, psychology, counseling or other related fields.
The ability to secure and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
The ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, social work, psychology, counseling or other related fields with 1 year of experience in working directly with transition age youth in Arizona's foster care system.
