Job Summary:

This position assists with various functions across the IT department. The internship offers students hands-on work experience in collaboration, software development life cycle (SDLC), and exposure to real-world IT operations.

Job Duties:
  • Supports the creation and deployment of an AI-based solution designed to assist the IT Help Desk with password reset workflows.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of standard work related to new processes and systems.
  • Participates in team collaboration activities, requirement-gathering sessions, and technical planning meetings.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

  • Python or C#
  • User account management principles

Skills in:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Research and problem-solving

Ability of:

  • Prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Follow and adhere to the agency’s policies and procedures.

Must obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and clear the DCS Central Registry.

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
