Communications/ Digital Marketing Intern

Job Summary:

The Arizona Corporation Commission seeks creative and motivated Communications/Digital Marketing Intern to support its public-facing communications efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in government communications and public policy, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how statewide regulations and policies are developed. The intern will create and evaluate social media content, help shoot, produce and edit videos and podcasts, draft written materials, and assist with media outreach to strengthen the Commission’s digital presence.

Working under the supervision of the Public Information Officer and with guidance from the Executive Director, the intern will contribute to strategies that inform and engage the public. This hybrid position is designed to provide meaningful educational experience for students pursuing careers in communications, digital marketing, public relations, or public policy.

 

Job Duties:

· Contribute to the production, editing, and post-production of podcasts and video content for the ACC website and social media platforms.

· Create engaging and educational content for the ACC's social media platforms.

· Create and edit written and digital educational materials for public awareness campaigns.

· Attend ACC Open Meetings and Workshops

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

· Strong writing and editing skills

· Production & Technology: operating studio cameras, lighting/audio equipment

· Editing & Post-Production: editing video packages using software like Adobe Premiere
