POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Division Director, this position serves as a team member of the Dependent Children’s Services support pool and is responsible for the administrative work associated with the Director and with the Foster Care Review Board (FCRB), CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and Court Improvement programs. This position works especially closely with the Director and the FCRB Program Manager, as well as with tasks associated with the FCRB Program and the division as a whole.
The position will perform administrative tasks by handling and organizing routine division matters, including maintaining and organizing files and database. This position will also compose and prepare correspondence, agendas, meeting minutes, statistical reports, and memoranda. Additionally, this position will assist the Division Director and management staff in monitoring budget, including review of monthly financial transaction reports and outstanding encumbrances for accuracy and process any necessary corrections
Other duties include assisting in the process to enhance the board member tracking database, securing translation/interpretations services for the FCRB, processing and updating review board member records, coordinating state board meetings, and performing other duties as assigned.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and four years’ experience in the administrative or office management field, including budgetary and financial experience. This position must also have the knowledge and skill to operate computer software, such as Word, ACCESS, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Internet, and Intranet. Additionally, this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work with confidential materials, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively and independently handle several tasks, projects, and assignment simultaneously.
