POSITION SUMMARY:
The Arizona Supreme Court is seeking a Human Resources Specialist who specializes in benefits, supporting a client base of approximately 600 judicial officers and employees.

This position serves as the Benefits Liaison and will be responsible for providing information to management and/or employees and judges about state employee benefits. This position is also responsible for performing administrative functions related to FMLA and other leave of absence. Other key responsibilities include providing professional human resources services to management, judges, and staff; website updates; employee events; tuition reimbursement; management or government-compliance reports as required; and workers' compensation.

The position also acts as a primary point of contact for technical assistance related to the AZ360 and inquiries about other HR programs. As well as assisting in diagnosing AZ360 system issues by using the ServiceNow ticketing application, combined with analytical triage and hands-on troubleshooting.

Additionally, this position serves as the liaison with Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Risk Management for workers' compensation claims and ergonomic assessments, , and prepares annual OSHA reports.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proven their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of human resources experience or equivalent. Knowledge of health and welfare plans, retirement plans, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, and related state and federal regulations affecting employee benefits. HRIS/ employee data processing experience, familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing environment, and knowledge of HRIS/ERP systems .

This position also requires the ability to perform triage, diagnose system-related issues, and isolate the root cause of complex technical problems. Maintain confidentiality, manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities. Additionally, this position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and recordkeeping skills.

The preferred candidate should have working knowledge and experience with AZ360 and be familiar with Arizona State Government Benefits.

Travel level: negligible.
