This position is eligible for an employee referral incentive payment of $1,000.00 (conditions apply).

The Program Specialist performs administrative duties for the Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC), Judicial Performance Review (JPR), and Human Resources Department. Responsibilities of the position include providing program support to JPR by compiling Commission notebooks, assisting at the Public Vote Meeting, survey data entry, and assembling training materials.  Providing program support to JNC by receiving and logging judicial applications, reviewing letters of recommendation, and organizing, preparing, and distributing applications and letters of recommendation to JNC Administrator.  Additional functions include providing support to the Human Resources Department by posting job advertisements; scheduling interviews, coordinating, and administering applicant testing, creating, and tracking temporary personnel contracts, compiling new hire orientation training materials; and updating and publishing the organizational chart monthly.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent plus four years of related experience. Other requirements include the ability to convey a positive and professional image and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and to the public, perform detailed work requiring initiative and judgment, handle several tasks, projects, assignments simultaneously, and work with a team. This position also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office products, knowledge of SQL and Visio, and effective organizational and time management skills.
