The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Child and Family Protection Division within the Child Support Services Section is seeking a Paralegal III provides support for one or more Assistant Attorneys General. This position will be responsible duties including, but not limited to assessing and preparing case files for court hearings, assisting in trial preparation and document management, conducting and drafting stipulations with the parties, performing legal and case-related research, following through with post-hearing work and responding to inquiries from the court, client agency and public.
The Paralegal manages the paternity case load including drafting motions and correspondence, scheduling and monitoring genetic testing appointments and documenting case-related activity into the automated case management system (ATLAS). The Paralegal also performs additional tasks as assigned by supervising personnel. The Paralegal complies with all laws, rules, office policies and procedures applicable to the performance of the job. Duties involve reviewing, creating and processing materials and information confidential by Federal and State Laws.

The ideal candidate will have two years full-time employment as a paralegal; or a paralegal certification through an institutionally accredited program and one year of full-time employment in a law office.
