The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a forward-thinking Marketing Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of Arizona Correctional Industries' (ACI) marketing and communications efforts. This role focuses on producing and publishing social content, supporting advertising, maintaining website content, and tracking performance across channels. Works closely with the Marketing and Advertising Manager to carry out the marketing strategy and helps ensure ACI's brand, employer partnerships, and workforce development story are represented consistently across digital platforms.

- Creates, schedules, and publishes content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram in line with the content calendar and brand guidelines
- Monitors engagement and responds to comments and messages
- Supports the employee spotlight series and other ongoing content initiatives
- Assists in building and launching digital ad campaigns across all digital platforms
- Tracks spend, pacing, and performance against goals
- Supports paid promotions of key initiatives, employer partnership announcements, and trade show events
- Updates and maintains website content, including products and services pages, creates blog material, and supports Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts
- Tracks performance metrics across social, web, and all other channels
- Compiles regular reporting on reach, engagement, and campaign results
- Flags trends and recommends optimizations to the Marketing and Advertising Manager
- Produces basic graphics, social assets, and simple print materials using approved brand templates
- Supports the graphic designer and coordinates with the sign shop and print vendors on production needs
- Supports employer outreach, trade show preparation, and cross-agency communications as needed
- Assists with internal updates and stakeholder-facing materials
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
- Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and social media platforms
- Marketing analytics
- Data tracking tools like Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and native KPIs
- Social Media platforms, their trends, and best practices
- Email marketing and website Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms
Skill in:
- Social content creation including videography, photography, and simple editing
- Coordination with vendors, contracts, and cross-team leaders
- Content scheduling, planning, and analyzing
- Communications and presentations
- Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics
- Planning and leading initiatives
- Meta and Google Business Suite, LinkedIn, and Canva
- Writing, editing, and content creation
Ability to:
- Communicate clearly across all marketing channels and to all defined audiences
- Manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
- Represent ACI's mission accurately in public-facing content
- Work collaboratively across teams
- Assist in execution of marketing plans to reach audiences through targeted channels
- Perform research, analyses, and testing with a variety of tools to gain insights and shape marketing strategy
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in an established business managing digital marketing, social media, or communications
- At least one (1) year of experience in project management
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and a drug test.
