Job Summary:

The Arizona State Treasurer’s Office is looking for a team-player with excellent communication and creative skills who can effectively promote the AZ529, Arizona’s Education Savings Plan, to our community. This includes establishing partnerships and providing information to businesses, governmental agencies and non-profits to grow the AZ529 Plan.

Job Duties:

• Establishing partnerships and providing information about the AZ529 Plan.
• Organizing and staffing visits to schools, community centers and public events to reach underserved communities.
• Developing and supporting AZ529 marketing campaigns and events.
• Creating social media posts and writing press releases for multi-media interests.
• Providing support for regular communications in the Treasurer’s Office as needed.
• Responding to social media and constituent inquiries about the AZ529 Plan.
• Designing and developing AZ529 marketing material as needed.
• Providing additional staff support for the AZ529 Advisory Committee and Financial Literacy Task Force.

Selective Preference(s):

Selective Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public policy, business or finance from an accredited college or university.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal history investigation.
