Manage all aspects of the Agency's membership program and assist with social media accounts and routine website updates.
Actively promote AHS membership by communication with potential visitors, members, and donors at events around the State at AHS sites, AHS certified museums, and public events.
Promotes the work of AHS to attract new visitors, members, and donors. Maintains the computer database used to track membership sales, renewals, and reporting.
Develop a coordinated program of regular member communication such as hand-written thank you notes, scheduled renewal notices and upgrade, to secure renewals and membership upgrades. Create member surveys and compiling results.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
• Assist with the development and implementation of fund raising campaigns, including story development, mailings, appeals, reports, analysis, and other relevant correspondence
• Plan and develop multi-channel content to engage members, including regular members-only material and events such as Member Appreciation Week
• Serve as staff liaison to State Board Outreach Committee for certified Museums, Al Merila Awards, and any assigned committee duties
• Maintain Agency database using CRM software, process membership data, payments, memorials, gifts, and donations
• Co-create, review, edit, update. and post as needed to website, social media, and direct-mail marketing
• Evaluate and develop membership strategies and material for recruitment, retention, and upgrades
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and material for multiple departments IE
• Co-create Guest Experience, Exhibit, Library & Archive, and Education outreach materials
• Track lapsed members, potential donors, and other constituents for future engagement
• Prepare reports as needed for senior leadership and Agency communications/mailings
• Work with Guest Services lo steward visitors toward increased engagement
• Steward members toward increased engagement
Knowledge:
• Administrative principles, donor database management, accounting and procurement practices, website operations and management
Skills:
• Good oral and written communications; accurate data entry; attention to detail and multi task oriented
Abilities:
• Work with the public; analyze data; resolve problem; edit written materials coordinate activities and establish priorities
• Create engaging content and meaningful connections
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Non-Profit Management or related field, or 3-5 years experience in comparable field
• Must be able to obtain a valid Arizona State driver's license
