Within the Office of Manufactured Housing division, this position performs duties that include investigations against unlicensed activities and violations by licensed entities, licensee audits, complaint investigations, regulation enforcement, preparation of legal documents and HUD State Administrative Agency tasks. Within the Office of Manufactured Housing division, this position performs duties that include investigations against unlicensed activities and violations by licensed entities, licensee audits, complaint investigations, regulation enforcement, preparation of legal documents and HUD State Administrative Agency tasks.
Responsibilities include:
• Initiate and perform field investigations against licensees and non-licensed individuals to determine and verify any violations to statutes or rules. Compose and administer actions against licensees and non-licensees that will include, but not limited to, Citations and Complaints, Cease and Desist Orders, Stop Work Orders, Orders to Vacate, and investigative reports.
• Enter and investigate premises where units regulated by OMH are manufactured, sold or installed, to ensure compliance with approved standards and rules. This includes the auditing of dealer sales records and dealer lots to monitor for transit damage, seal tampering and general retail performance.
• Visit properties, while coordinating with consumers, licensees and contractors to make assessments regarding the status and validity of consumer complaint items. Compose and prepare any legal documents required as a result of audit findings. Document findings and participate as a witness in agency hearings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in working with statutory requirements for a regulatory agency; Valid Arizona Driver’s license, as this position will be required to drive while conducting state business. Experience in the regulation and enforcement of the manufactured building industry or related construction industry is desired, but not required.
