Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Liquor is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Optical Disk Input Tech. This position is responsible for opening, sorting, batching, and preparing various forms for scanning. This position also performs cashiering duties and fulfills public records request.

Job Duties:

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Scanning documents and files into the document storage system.
  • Opening, date stamping, and sorting mail.
  • Sorting batches and preparing various forms for scanning.
  • Reviews scanned documents and resolves inconsistencies.
  • Cashiering, closing register, and preparing end of day deposits.
  • Answers phone calls/emails and provides information pertaining to the records department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) or equivalent software.
  • Knowledge in digital-imaging systems and procedures.
  • Ability to learn Mainframe and closely follow established policies.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to reprioritize throughout the day, as needed.
Selective Preference(s):
  • Minimum 1-year of computer experience in a job setting.
  • Office support experience involving sorting/coding documents and operating a scanner.
