The purpose of this position is to manage the delivery of the Railroad Section 130 (Railroad Safety) program for the department. Under the supervision of the section Program Administrator, this position will oversee and ensure all aspects of the administration, technical support, and special project programs are managed and met within schedule, and budget This position will ensure the appropriate and maximum benefit of the program for ADOT's safety at railroad crossings.

Manage and supervise the Section 130 and railroad liaison team; assist with delivery and planning for the Section 130 program; provide support and oversight to the ADOT, LPA and Railroads to continuously improve the program.

Provide oversight and support to the railroad teams; supports Arizona Management System tools and trackers; provide oversight to the design, development and implementation of the Section 130 program and schedule.

Oversight and guidance to the development of agreements and monitoring reimbursements with proper attention to the federal program Railroad.

Provide input and support in maintaining development guidelines, templates and work flow structures to meet compliance.

Statewide travel and overnight lodging as needed to support all primary responsibilities. May require to drive a state vehicle in the course and scope of state business.

Other duties as assigned as related to the position.

Degree in engineering or business. Seven years of experience with managing detailing business programs and supervision. Master's Degree or PE preferred
