The position entails effective management of the Arizona Travelers Information Website (AZ511) program, ensuring its seamless operation and provision of accurate, valuable information to the motoring public. Responsibilities include maintaining the AZ511 system's currency, overseeing event data entry, and facilitating advancements and updates to align features, functions, and technologies with evolving standards. Collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including governmental agencies, transportation departments, and vendors, is paramount to enhance program efficacy and relevance. Additionally, the role extends to serving as a Spillman Flex Application Administrator Assistant within the Transportation Systems Management and Operations Division (TSMO). This position provides crucial support to the system administrator, aiding in smooth operations and software optimization. Responsibilities encompass producing detailed audit reports and TSMO data analysis, conducting password resets, scheduling training sessions, and offering first-level technical support for Spillman Flex. Active involvement in system upgrades/updates and troubleshooting technology-related issues relevant to the TSMO Division is integral.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

As the overseer of the AZ511 program, responsibilities span the spectrum of intra-divisional programs, emphasizing efficiency optimization and conflict
mitigation. This encompasses day-to-day operations, with a focus on traveler information dissemination. Additionally, leveraging Spillman Flex, tasks
include crafting analytical reports to optimize resource deployment, generating audits, analyzing TSMO data for error identification and correction within the Traffic Operations Center and Incident Response Unit. System configuration and software setup align with agency needs.
Establishing performance metrics and criteria allows for effective management assessment and improvement identification within the AZ511
program. Documentation maintenance, including user guides and troubleshooting resources, ensures operational efficiency and information accessibility
within the Spillman Flex system. transferring files utilizing ADOT’s current platform, Google Drive, managing user accounts, permissions, and access
levels within the Spillman Flex system to ensure appropriate access to sensitive information.
Continuous innovation drives the Arizona Travelers Information Program, strategically aligned with state transportation objectives. Staying abreast of
technological advancements, initiatives respond to evolving traveler and transportation ecosystem needs.
Providing comprehensive training resources extends to personnel, emergency responders, and stakeholders, ensuring proficiency in Spillman Flex
applications. Coordination of training activities, including proficiency sessions and ongoing technical support, enhances system utilization.
Evaluating and implementing new technologies enhances traveler information delivery, maintaining Spillman Flex functionality through updates and
feature launches. Code table maintenance and updates are performed to align with Quality Assurance Manager directives.
Serving as the AZ511 program liaison, collaboration with ADOT public information representatives ensures effective representation in media interviews
and public engagements.

Current AZ Drivers License required.
ACJIS Certification is required and authorized through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
