Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Training Information Manager, this position provides programmatic and project support for the continuous innovation, integration and utilization of technology solutions to enhance ADOT’s employee learning management system and business development programs, products and services. It coordinates the division’s software tracking, fixed asset inventory maintenance, annual renewals, and supports updating and maintenance of the intranet. This position also works on a variety of ongoing complex technological projects and activities. Some travel might be required.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Project coordination of system enhancement projects, functionality testing, and the development and revision of operational standard processes. Generate spreadsheets, compile information, prepare and update reports.

In conjunction with ITG, division subject matter experts, internal EBD units and leaders, support cross functionality of the system administration functions of ADOT's Learning Management System for operational efficiency and technology capabilities. Establish, model, and teach best practices through the discipline of continuous improvement to provide sustainable progress. Analyze the adoption of efficient technology processes, identification for areas of improvements, and provide recommendations for innovation and automation.

Coordinate and manage software contracts for all EBD systems, software and applications for evaluation and renewal. Serve as the EBD liaison and main point of contact for the annual fixed asset inventory and the division’s intranet.

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
