The Property Appraiser 3 on the CVP Team conducts the appraisals of considerable difficulty of centrally valued
properties (CVP)( e.g., electric generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy properties, mines, railroads,
pipelines, telecommunications properties, airline flight property, among others), utilizing methods and techniques that
comply with Arizona Revised Statutes, standard appraisal methods/techniques, and guidelines and rules of the Arizona
Department of Revenue, to produce equitable valuations and uniform allocations of those values for property tax
purposes. May be called upon to review, discuss and defend values in informal taxpayer conferences, before both
judicial and administrative bodies and formally represent valuations on behalf of the Department and the State.
This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (# days per week in the office/hoteling)

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with LEAN management process improvement methodologies
Experience in Unitary Appraisal
Experience in Commercial Property Appraisal
Designation through a recognized professional appraisal organization
DOR Appraiser Level 1 and 2 Certification
Successful completion of the DOR intermediate appraisal certification program or ability to successfully complete
the program within three years after the hire date.
Ability to attend and successfully complete WSATA Courses 100 and 101 within 5 years of hire date.

-Arizona Tax Filing Records Check
-If applicable, ASEDRA Authorized Driver Identification Check
