The Quality Assurance Analyst Senior - IT position will interpret issues, recommend solutions, and will solve complex problems. Will act as a resource to lower colleagues and may lead teams and/or projects. This position will also define scenarios and participate in production verification and validation.
-Perform functional, integration, regression and release testing on software to ensure its quality and reliability.
-Communicate findings and resolutions, document all issues to support continuous improvement throughout the project.
-Proficiently create test plans, test data and procedures to ensure a successful testing process.
-Help the team stay aligned and improve overall software quality.
-Review and report complex test results involving analyzing test outcomes.
-Identify issues and provide clear insights. This includes offering suggestions for improvements to enhance software performance, functionality and user experience.
-Using diagrams, flow charts and test procedures helps visualize and organize issues ensuring clear communication and effective resolution by the development team.
-Performs other duties as assigned
The candidate will have knowledge of quality assurance; testing tools and processes; software development processes including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing; problem resolution and planning; business applications; testing multiple platforms, browser and mobile devices. The candidate will be skilled in customer service; quality assurance; excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication. The candidate will have the ability to multitask; collaborate with team members; synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly; build strong relationships internally and externally; develop and write technical documentation; execute testing; interpret and analyze test results; handle scripting across different platforms; use/maintain testing frameworks, test libraries, database and test environments.
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree plus 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance testing and analysis.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked or suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
