The Office of Economic Opportunity is seeking to hire a research analyst to join its Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages team. The position is a telework position with some need to be in the office on occasion. The research analyst will be part of a small, enthusiastic data collection team working on behalf of the Bureau of Labor Statistics to gather employer business information used to produce a tabulation of the number of Arizona establishments, monthly employment, and quarterly wages for workers covered by state and federal unemployment insurance laws. Much of this position’s work entails reviewing unemployment insurance tax records, contacting employers to update records and collect missing business information, matching reported data to industry codes, and conducting comprehensive reviews of completed survey data.
