This position is available for remote work on a full time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangement). 

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst acts as primary liaison between the Information Technology department and multiple business units, supports the organization’s key business processes and applications, and recommends business process redesign where applicable.

Job Duties:

Main responsibilities include:

  • Gathers and documents business requirements for large, complex projects
  • Translates requirements into business, functional and use case documents
  • Provides functional expertise to developers during the design and construction phases of projects
  • Modify and test applications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
  • Proficiency with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
  • Working knowledge of programming languages, database management systems, development platforms, and systems integration, as well as general knowledge of IT Infrastructure
  • Proficient analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, consolidate details and extract to functional requirements
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Selective Preference(s):
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 3-6 years of Business Analyst experience
