This position will act as liaison between Information Technology Services and multiple business units in order to elicit and document project requirements and validate that solutions meet the department's objectives. This position supports the organization's key business processes and applications.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Develop and elicit project requirements by gathering plans and collaborating with customers and other stakeholders, ensuring requirements are aligned to the approved project charter.
-Create project documents including detailed project requirements, statements, context diagrams, status reports, change requests, and other project requirements as outlined by the project management lifecycle process or requested by stakeholders.
-Ensure requirements traceability is maintained during the development and testing processes by validating that work meets all requirements and communicating effectively with developers, quality assurance analysts, project managers, business customers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve conflicts.

Knowledge of:
-Project Management, Information Systems, Business Processes, Tax Procedures
-Proficiency with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
-General knowledge of policies, procedures, programs and business goals
-Lean Six Sigma, Methodologies and techniques for systems analysis and design, business process modeling
Skilled in:
-Negotiation, Elicitation, Analysis
-Excellent verbal and written communication
-Meeting Facilitation, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations
Ability to:
-Lead, collaborate, adapt
-Evaluation of performance and processes for continual improvement

-Learn and apply LEAN concepts, principles and tools used to create and deliver perspectives with fewest resources with continuous problem solving.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
-Bachelor's degree with 5+ year of experience in business analysis (or equivalent experience)
-PMI Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management
-Experience with Continuous Improvement or LEAN is preferred
-3-5 years experience in a large organization writing requirements for software development projects or working on enterprise level CRM or ERP software deployments, preferred
