POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will serve as a lead within the Automation Services Unit. This position will encompass a wide range of complex projects that involve delivering and implementing statewide automation solutions. Including substantial involvement with limited jurisdiction and general jurisdiction courts, and associated committees. Enhancing the quality of justice through improvements in court operations through system training and 2nd level user support. This position will also supervise Process and Business Analyst within the unit.

Additionally, this position will assist the Unit Manager by approving training materials prior to educational sessions, test validate data in statewide case management systems, and audit court data upon request to ensure integrity and quality. This position will also attend and conduct trainings and other Court Services program meetings.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s and seven years’ experience in a court environment in a lead position, which includes supervisory and/or oversight responsibilities. Directly related experience may substitute for the educational requirements. This position requires good working knowledge of court procedures, court rules and Arizona statues, demonstrated experience in case management system implementation in a multi-court environment, and skills in leading personnel and team building.

This position also requires the ability to provide highly responsible administrative and technical work performed independently with minimal supervision, work effectively with other AOC divisions, judges, court staff and the public, exercise independent judgment in decision making, and work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

The preferred candidate will have working knowledge of SQL Server relational databases, developing and executing database queries and/or basic knowledge and experience using Crystal Reports, SSRS, or other report development software, and experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.

Travel level: up to 25% within the state of Arizona.
