The Arizona Department of Correction, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for an experienced and very professional SUPPLIES WAREHOUSING SUPERVISOR responsible for the budget for warehouse operations and for the overall management of projects, supplies, materials, and equipment needs based on past usage and anticipated organization activities. This role also establishes operational receiving schedules for distribution of purchased materials at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Eyman in Florence, AZ.

- Manages automated inventory control system for the warehouse and perform periodical inventories
- Prepares documents for purchasing and restocking of supplies in accordance with the state Procurement Rules utilizing the automated State Procurement System
- Projects supply, and material needs based on past usage and anticipated institutional operations
- Picks, packs and stages orders
- Develops and implements warehouse operation related procedures
- Prepares periodical reports, invoicing and special projects
- Interfaces with vendors regarding delivery schedules, purchasing and problem resolution
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
- Warehousing systems, practices and procedures including receiving practices, shipping methods, inventory control, accountability, stock rotation, supervision, and hazardous materials control (HAZMAT)
- State procurement rules and regulations/procedures
- Material and supply management
- Fire code safety practices and processes, record keeping and retention
- Report preparation, OSHA rules and regulations
- Warehouse safety practices and procedures
- Personal computer and software applications
- Principles and practices of leadership and work management

- Lift/Carry up to 50lbs

- Apply sound critical judgement, read, interpret, and implement a varied range of reference materials, directives, policy, procedures, regulations, codes, laws and mandates related to area of responsibility
- Learn principles and practices of leadership and management
- Apply good security, management and supervisory methodology
- Adapt to changing priorities and/or direction, completing and maintaining established time frames
- Lift and move items manually
- Perform mathematical calculations, and data entry functions
- Work independently, exercising independent judgment
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships while maintaining professional standards
- Provide constructive direction and criticism
- Work in a prison and warehouse environment/setting
- Prefer five (5) years of experience involving receiving, storing, inventory and distributing a variety of supplies and materials
- Three (3) years experience in supervision of a warehouse environment
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
