The Arizona Department of Administration is actively recruiting a Surplus Lead Expeditor for the General Services Division (GSD). This position will serve under the Surplus Administrator and will be responsible for supervising the statewide surplus property program. This department serves as the control agency for the disposal of excess State property, and provides policy, guidance and direction to State agencies in accounting for, and disposing of unwanted property. This position manages that process, to include the coordination and oversight of on-line auctions and the Federal Surplus Program; eligibility of non-profit and local government entities; scheduling and processing of incoming/outgoing inventory; office personnel supervision; ensures final reconciliation of cash, credit cards, invoices and inventory; and oversees maintaining archive records for all transactions, inventories, transfers and risk claims. Ensures policy compliance, real-time problem solving and designs and implements process improvements.
